Welcome to the latest edition of the SGD Lowdown, coming straight to you from our brilliant new Richmond office! Most of you know we have a new address in Richmond #3121. Inside our studio we are surrounded by some amazing individuals and creative teams, including artists, film writers and copywriters, who inspire us everyday.
At SGD we have been busy with lots of new web projects, in particular eCommerce sites! Our most recent being CLAX – Australia’s only authorized seller of the German designed cart, and Amaleia – a beautifully designed online store for a jewellery brand which uses opals and Australian gems in a contemporary and innovative way. Another noteworthy launch was for an exciting new concept and initiative Walk On Water – which incorporates a unique water calculator that convrtes the minutes walked into mls of water needed to be consumed.
On a different note, we had the pleasure of meeting WordPress founder, Matt Mullenweg. It was incredibly eye opening to hear Matt’s version of where WordPress is currently at and his vision for the future. You can read the full story here.
What’s Next?
We also have some very exciting new sites due for launch in the coming months, including another sister for the The Botanist Kirribilli and Bondi Hardware – SoCal – which is currently filling Sydney’s Neutral Bay with vibes of Southern California; one of Australia’s largest off road vehicle manufacturers, and a very exciting new entertainment and accommodation venue in Newcastle, which is currently oozing coolness!
