Windo

Windo is a Melbourne-based provider of premium window furnishings, operating as a trusted Luxaflex dealer with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and in-person showroom consultations. They work closely with homeowners, architects and interior designers to deliver high-end, Australian-made solutions including blinds, curtains, awnings, shutters and motorised systems.

About the Project

Windo engaged SGD as part of their Digital Uplift project to modernise their website and improve search visibility within their target Melbourne suburbs.

A key part of the brief was transitioning from a .net.au domain to the more credible and trusted windo.com.au domain, while preserving and improving SEO performance. The new website also needed to clearly communicate Windo’s expertise, highlight the Luxaflex partnership, and encourage users to book showroom visits or make direct enquiries.

The project required a clean, modern redesign paired with a strong SEO foundation, built to support ongoing content growth and suburb-based targeting.

Our Solution

We designed and developed a new WordPress website that positions Windo as a premium window furnishings specialist, aligned with their brand and showroom experience.

  • Website Design: The website was redesigned using a refined colour palette paired with new typography to create a modern, elegant and confident aesthetic. The layout focuses on clarity and visual hierarchy, allowing products, finishes and expertise to take centre stage while guiding users naturally towards enquiry and showroom calls to action.
  • Domain Migration & Platform Build: We managed the transition from windo.net.au to windo.com.au, ensuring a smooth migration that protects SEO equity and strengthens brand credibility.
  • SEO Strategy: We implemented an SEO campaign targeting three core keyword groups, including product-based terms, motorised solutions and suburb-specific searches. The website structure was planned to support location-based SEO, including an “Areas We Cover” framework and suburb hierarchy to prioritise high-value locations and scale over time.
  • Content: Content was populated across the site to highlight Windo’s premium offering, Luxaflex expertise and showroom-led service model.
